3. How We Use Your Information

- To process in-app purchases
- To improve the app experience
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication (stores account and game data)
- Unity LevelPlay — advertising mediation. LevelPlay selects ads from the following advertising partners, which may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID) to serve and measure ads: Unity Ads, Chartboost, ironSource, Liftoff/Vungle, Pangle, and Meta Audience Network.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — collects and records your advertising consent choices (GDPR / US state privacy)
- Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication method
- Firebase — crash reporting and analytics
- RevenueCat — subscription management
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their data collection practices.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security policies. Quiz content is stored locally on your device for offline access. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include the use of advertising identifiers for personalized advertising; you can limit this at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control described in Section 10. Apart from advertising, your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:
- Public leaderboards — your username and XP score are visible to other users
- Friends — users you add as friends can see your username, level, and XP
- Legal requirements — if required by law or legal process
7. Children's Privacy
Trivioly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the app's profile and settings
- Update your username and notification preferences
- Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account)
9. Notifications
With your permission, we send daily reminder notifications at a time you choose. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or your device settings.
10. Advertisements
Trivioly displays interstitial and rewarded advertisements through Unity LevelPlay mediation, which sources ads from the advertising partners listed in Section 4. Rewarded ad viewing (to earn Coins, hints, or refill brains) is always optional. VIP members enjoy an ad-free experience.
You control how your data is used for advertising:
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): a consent prompt lets you accept, reject, or manage personalized advertising. You can change this any time under Settings → Manage privacy choices.
- Do Not Sell or Share (US states): Settings includes a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control that limits the sale or sharing of your personal information for personalized advertising.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS): on Apple devices you are asked whether to allow tracking; declining prevents use of your device's advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app. Changes are effective when posted.
